We love the Korsteel Stainless Steel Segunda Dee Ring Snaffle Bit because the jointed Segunda mouthpiece encourages the horse to lighten, and soften its head and body.  

The Dee-ring is a compromise between an Eggbutt, and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth but without the dangers posed by the arms of a full cheek snaffle.  The Segunda port can provide relief on the tongue, and encourage lightness in the bridle.
