The fixed design is slightly stronger, as there is no rolling action rather, the horse feels the bit’s indents/grooves to encourage lighter contact and discourage leaning. The non-pinch feature ensures comfort, while the textured mouthpiece enhances communication.

The Baby Pelham cheekpiece also allows for dual-rein use, combining direct snaffle action and curb leverage for versatile control over head carriage and balance. This setup is ideal when you need a bit more influence while maintaining comfort.
